3Polars is a ‘formal’ site for web designer Steve Gibbs. It’s not the only place to find him, but it’s the first place to look. He’s a freelance provider of design, development, template customization, site maintenance, and some special online advertising programs. This site is not filled with fluff or shameless Search Engine bait pretending to “inform” you about obvious things. It is as straight-forward as possible.

This site was kept conservatively simple in design on purpose, as it’s not really the place to get all artsy & stuff. It contains a client management section so current clients can
log in for online invoicing, project management, a priority help desk, and private phone help. It also serves as the porthole for the 3Polars newsletter ‘create & send’ system.

Stuff about Steve
I’m a dad, a foodie, and a die-hard skier. I walked away from an 11-year career in commercial photography to pursue my closet-obsession for programming. Now, as a freelancer, I mainly design web sites for folks and I also build theme templates to sell to 3rd parties. I develop server-side applications, and dabble in vector illustrations when I can. My portfolio only lists new work, and it’s always growing. I’ve been involved in a lot of projects that offered no reward besides experience and networking.
My approach may be slightly different because I’m not looking for a bulk of business; I have no intentions of ‘going big’ with 3Polars. Each month, I accept a few new projects and then add them to a regular maintenance rotation. This ensures that I’ll always have the time for my current clients’ needs.
To hire me, or find out what it cost to do so, just contact me through this web site. Send your phone number if you’d like me to give you a call. I’m open to almost any web project, and I particularly enjoy the challenge of new and unexplored ideas.
I can’t believe you actually read this whole thing. That’s very considerate of you. Thanks!
